The Los Angeles band don’t stop working and has announced that their fourth studio album will be launched in June. That album will be called Overexposed.

No doubt, recently the radio stations have been very benevolent with this band and Maroon 5 has achieved very good results with Move Like Jagger which has been a real success including also a collaboration with Christina Aguilera in that song.

Apparently, the upcoming album of the band won’t be very different from the last one and could include even more pop sounds compared with the songs we know already. The successful band has chosen this song called Payphone as the first single of the upcoming album. The song was introduced through a popular reality TV show called The Voice and has had a very good reception. It is available for digital download  since April 23.

When the guitarist of the band (James Valentine) was asked about the new album, he said that “at this point in our career I think it was a good thing to completely mix up our process and it yielded good results, as well as a more collaborative spirit within the band. We wanted to make something that sounded contemporary with the elements of a lot of early eras of pop music. This is our most ‘pop’ record ever and we weren’t shy about really going for it.”

Max Martin, Ryan Tedder and Benny Blanco are the executive producers of the album. Even, Benny Blanco was the musical producer for some of the tracks. In this first single -Payphone- Maroon 5 had a collaboration with Wiz Khalifa.

The track listing includes 14 songs with other titles like I’m Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter, It’s Only a Paper Moon, The Glory of Love, Bye Bye Blackbird and Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive.

The Delexu edition has two more singles, Baby0s Request and My One and Only Love and the bonus tracks from Capitol Studios includes the live versions for My Valentine, Home, Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive and I’m Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter.

McCartney, 60, is ready to his South America tour which stars in Bogotá, Colombia Today. After that, he will visiting Brazil and Mexico and he has announced two special shows in Horsens, Denmark today for June 30th.
