It hasn’t been the best season for Glee Cast that aired the first episode in September, 2009. The musical televesion series has reported low rating, however, they have released some covers lately that have brought back the expectations for this program.

One of these new covers is We Are Young which was ranked at #1 on iTunes in a matter of hours once they released last December 6th. The original single belongs the American indie pop band Fun who released this same year and was featuring Janelle Monáe. Three months later, Glee Cast included it in the episode “Hold On to Sixteen” and the rest is history.

This year was premiered a movie directed by Kevin Tancharoen and in 3-D. The film is based on Glee Cast concert in East Rutherford and it includes the songs from the second season and features the behind-scenes footage.

The song has also debuted at #12 on U.S. Billboard Hot 100
