Javier Colon continues being the sensation these days in U.S. once he won the first season of talent reality “The Voice”. One of the songs he performed (Fix You) on the big finale was ranked at #52 on U.S. Billboard Hot 100 last week and now he debuted at #17 with the single Stitch by Stitch which was co-written exclusively for him by David Hodges, Dave Bassett and Lindy Robbins.

The song has sold around 145,000 copies after the release date at the end of last month. The singer and songwriter has announced his new album will be out on stores next November 22, 2011 but he didn’t confirmed the title.

Meanwhile Colon will do a series of concerts across The United States.

As it has happened with American Idol Season, the new reality, The Voice, has discovered talented singers who deserve to top the U.S. lists. That’s the case, Javier Colon, a Latin American singer who was the winner of the first season.

The song he performed on semi-finals was Fix You co-written Chris Martin, Will Champion, Jonny Buckland and Guy Berryman for the album “X&Y” by Coldplay in 2005. After Colon’s performance, the one was released digitally and it has debuted at #52 on U.S. Billboard Hot 100 this week.

Colon has previously released two albums (Javier and Left of Center) and one Acoustic EP (The Truth). After winning the T.V. show, he has signed a contract with Universal Republic Recording.
