Tomorrow Mariah Carey is going to release her twelfth album, Memoris of an Imperfect Angel while at the middle of this month, she also released the second single, I Want to Know What Love Is, a cover version of the song recorded by the band Foreigner that was included on the album agent Provocateur in 1984. It was performed on Live At The Pearl Concerts in Las Vegas and on the Oprah Winfrey Show. The album includes 17 tracks with other titles like: Angels, H.A.T.E.U., Ribbon, More than Just Friends and Candy Bling. Next September 29th, she will performing live on NBC’s The Today Show.

Right to Dream is the first track of the Tennessee soundtrack. It is a drama movie directed by Aaron Woodley and premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival last 26th, April 2008. The film is starring Ethan Peck, Adam Rothenberg, Mariah Carey, Lance Reddic and Bill Sage, and it will be released in theaters in March, 2009. Some experts said that the song will probably receive an Academy nomination for Best Song. Right to Dream is now #26 on Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks. The music video was premiered last December 8th. Mariah will appear this Friday on The Early Show live in New York City. She is going to share her support for Macy’s hear-warming “Believe in Macy’s” campaign.

The meaning of this album has two connotations: first one (E) Emancipation (=) equals (MC) Mariah Carey (2) to the second power, and the second one is the continuation from her 2005 album, The Emancipation of Mimi. When the album was debuted,it sold around 464,00 copies, while in United Kingdom, Mariah Carey got sold about 34,800 copies during the firs week. The Empire State building in NYC is lit up in Mariah’s honor from April 25th to 28th, the building now is dressed of three colors: lavender, pink and white, colors which identify to Mariah’s new number one album.
