Because of You was the winner as Best Contemporary R&B Album at Grammy’s Awards 2008. This is the fourth single from the album released the last December 4, 2007. On Your Girl is a nice song and a nice video in spite of its simplicity. The real name of Ne-Yo is Shaffer Chimere Smith, and he was born in Arkansas, U.S. Last year, Ne-Yo won a lot of awards: Best R&B Male Artist (Bet Awards), I am nearly an a-lister (Dirty Awards), Best Song and Best R&B 2007 (MOBO Awards) and Best R&B, Soul or Rap New Artist (Soul Train Music Awards). In 2007, He participated in the movie Stomp the Yard as Rich Brown the roommate of the main character and sang the movie soundtrack Sign Me Up.
