Indian Summer - Brooks & Dunn
|
Indian Summer is a new song released last month by the duo formed by Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn. It probably will be included on their next album to be released this same year. This week, the song is now 320 on U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs, and it has begun to climb positions on Canadian Radio and Record Country Singles. Currently is #44 there. Some of their cowboy town 2009 tour dates are: 23rd July (Monticello, IA), July 25th (Fort Knox, KY), August 7th (Detroit, Lakes, MN), August 15th (Aberdeen, MD) and Hamburg, NY (August 16th).
The tall weeds lay flat down On the hard flat Kansas ground And a sad song in her head Kept goin’ round She barely even knew his name Indian Summer Tangled in a moment of truth While the wind chased the leaves outside Oh Indian Summer She never even finished school So she left that dust bowl town Summer Ohhhhhhhhhhhh woah! |
