Three years ago, Ellie Goulding stole our hearts with Lights, a combination of electronic music and acoustic music that many people liked. The British singer made her first steps in USA and have collaborated with artists from multiple genres. Actually, she is in a relationship with American star producer and DJ Skrillex. But the rumors about her expected second album is not abundant precisely. Apparently, the album will be released on October 2012. We’ll see.

This week, we have heard that the composer of Guns & Horses is working at a studio with the well-known king of the current pop music: Calvin Harris, or as she calls him: Sir Calvin Harris. But don’t be afraid: In fact, Ellie becomes famous thanks to working with a British producer with Calvin’s similar category: Starsmith, and we hope she will work with him again during the production of her second album.

Now, one clear thing is that Goulding should have enough material at least for two albums, so let’s cross our fingers and hope that we can enjoy her new songs before the end of the year and, of course, her already classic songs such as Lights and Starry Eyed.

I had a way then losing it all on my own

I had a heart then but the queen has been overthrownAnd I’m not sleeping now the dark is too hard to beat
And I’m not keeping now the strength I need to push me

You show the lights that stop me turn to stone
You shine It when I’m alone
And so I tell myself that I’ll be strong
And dreaming when they’re gone

‘Cause they’re calling, calling, calling me home
Calling, calling, calling home
You show the lights that stop me turn to stone
You shine It when I’m alone

Home

Noises, I play within my head
Touch my own skin and hope that I’m still breathing
And I think back to when my brother and my sister slept
In an unlocked place the only time I feel safe

You show the lights that stop me turn to stone
You shine it when I’m alone
And so I tell myself that I’ll be strong
And dreaming when they’re gone

‘Cause they’re calling, calling, calling me home
Calling, calling, calling home
You show the lights that stop me turn to stone
You shine it when I’m alone

Home

Yeah, hee

Light, lights, lights, lights
Light, lights, lights, lights
Light, lights, lights, lights
Light, lights

You show the lights that stop me turn to stone
You shine it when I’m alone
And so I tell myself that I’ll be strong
And dreaming when they’re gone

‘Cause they’re calling, calling, calling me home
Calling, calling, calling home
You show the lights that stop me turn to stone
You shine it when I’m alone

Home, home
Light, lights, lights, lights
Light, lights, lights, lights

Home, home
Light, lights, lights, lights
Light, lights, lights, lights

Home, home
Light, lights, lights, lights
Light, lights, lights, lights

Home, home
Light, lights, lights, lights
Light, lights, lights, lights
