Not to God is a 2006 song that was included by the singer JoJo on her second studio album titled The High Road. The single was written by Diane Warren and produced by David Foster. Yesterday, the song was released as the first international single of Charice a Filipina pop singer who performed on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Her untitled debut album is going to be released in fall of 2009. Charice premiered this month a Mother’s Day preview Album with songs like Always You, Mama, For Mama, I’ll Be There, Wind Beneath My Wings among others.

this “little girl” is a total package of what singing is all about. any song, she lives it and this one is no exception, she owns it. thanks to david and oprah this God given gift charice has is a treasure the whole world can share.

This is a great song. Gave me the goosebump just listening to her interpretation. Wow. Full backup choir, David Foster on the piano, Diane Warren’s composition, Oprah’s backing, what else can you ask for? When God’s hand is at work, it pours….

The lyrics is so meaningful and the interpretation of charice is so powerful and rendered perfectly and made this song healing to me and makes me more closer to Him. Thanks to all of you that made this song very dear to my heart and uplifting.

Her technical skills are undeniably remarkable but even more impressing is the intensity she has when she sings. When I hear her singing I can feel that she had difficult life experiences. The look she throws in the sky around 3:00 is very deep and makes me cry all the time I see this video.

Wow!!! What can I say, I am speechless!!! She was Amazing, extraordinary, superb, brilliant, a true talent, magnificent, splendid, outstanding and excellent!!! I am running out of superlatives to describe this true phenome!!! Her talent is comparable to Whitney, Celine, Tina, Aretha and Patti. It’s the first time I saw and heard her sing and I will definitely buy this single. Wow, 0.99 cents @ itunes is a true bargain. I would even pay $30.00 for this song.

I would love to see Charice and Jennifer Hudson sing a duet at the Grammys, MTV, VMA or American Music Awards. Both of them belting out a song would be fantastic!!! Beyonce can join them and that would be incredible!!! I hope that happens and that would be entertainment!!!

When I first heard this song, I could not get through it without crying. I still teer up a little, but now I am planning on singing this song for my church congregation. What a prolific song for what is going on in our country and all over the world. We need God more so now than ever!

Love the song. i downloaded it and i just cant get enough listening to this song, a lot of meaning in this chaotic world. i know everyone of us can relate to the song esp. when you’ve been or going thru hard times.. i listened to bianca ryan and jojo’s interpretation but i think charice’s version gave full meaning to this song. i could really appreciate the song if i watch the video of charice in Oprah. She looks like she means every lyrics of it esp. when she looks up, she’s like praying in urgency of the situation around us. God is on your side Charice. Excellent performance. I am yet to hear a song Charice hasn’t
made her own. Often her performances are as good or better as the originals (I’ve compared song to song) – Mariah, Celine & Whitney included. Can’t waite for her new album to come out – and what a stage presence as well. What a voice!

Extra excellent performance!! Note to God by Charice is my first and only purchase from i-tunes (as of now). Charice makes one grasp the message of the songs she sings because of the feelings she puts into them. NTG is one of her most significant performances, it being her “own single” as acknowledged by composer Diane Warren, producer Dave Foster, and Oprah.

I’m a big fan of Celine, and I never thought in a million years that there would be another talent like hers. But then came along Charice, wow, now that’s all I listen to. She’s the best of the best and I can’t get enough of her incredible voice, espicially Note to God. Thanks Charice for such a beautiful song.

This is a powerful song and one of the best moving performances i’ve ever seen/heard. Charice has a truly magnificent voice and she’s so blessed with such a great opportunity ahead of her. It’s just sad to know that she is getting more support from other regions instead of getting more from where she was born (Philippines).It’s not about the looks that matters, it’s all about the whole package. Attitude, determination, talent, and passion. She has all of it..what more can i say?????

holy crabsticks! i loved jojo’s version and i knew charice could sing but wow, for someone who’s heard this song so many times already i was getting choked up. the latest american idol finale was so blah. why cant they have stuff like this??? i think this was the most moving peformance i have ever seen in my life. i cant imagine how it would have been if i was actually there !!
