On The Radio - Donna Summer
|
Donna Summer or The Queen of Disco gave us in 1979 this fabulous and unforgettable song very, very famous around the world. In fact, it made 3 different versions about it. The last version didn’t include the original lyrics, and for that omission Donna Summer had to sing at the end “on the radio-adio-adio”. Although “On the Radio” didn’t get the first position at Billboard Charts, the song was nominated at the Grammy Awards as Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Also, the album got certified multi-platinum, and Summer was the first singer in having three consecutive number one-double albums. In May 20, 2008, she will launch a new album called Crayons and the first single from this new material will appear in April, 2008.
Someone found a letter you wrote me on the radio Ohohoh, I was so surprised and shocked, and I wondered too Don’t it kinda strike you sad when you hear our song And it made me feel proud when I heard you say On the radio whoa oh oh If you think that love isn’t found on the radio On the radio whoa oh oh |
