The song has received certified gold by the RIAA due to got more than 1,000,000 downloads. iTunes, for example, selected this single as the rock song number one and the number eight song of 2007. On the other hand, the complete album received the last March 6, 2008 certified gold for RIAA and it has sold more than 483,000 copies in the United States. Them vs. You vs. Me was the winner as 2008 Rock Album of the Year.
