Same Mistake – James Blunt Lyrics
Album: All the Lost Souls
Genre: Folk Rock
Released: December 3, 2007
James Blunt was well-recognized worldwide for his unforgettable song You’re Beautiful which went through from the most secret places to the most popular ones. The single Same Mistake makes part from his third album All The Lost Souls after Back to Bedlam in 2004 and Chasing Time: The Bedlam Sessions in 2006. This new album still got certified gold in only the first week of being released. As I said in my last post (Love Song – Sara Bareilles), he will be the next special guest in VH1 the next February 16, and he will be performing together to Bareilles in different cities from United States and Canada. Not only the Same Mistake lyrics is so good, but also its video. It was recorded by using a particular filming technique. The camera was attached to Blunt’s torso, by getting this way, to follow very very close, the Blunt’s face during a day.

So while I’m turning in my sheets
And once again I cannot sleep
Walk out the door and up the street
Look at the stars beneath my feet
Remember rights that I did wrong
So here I go
Uhuh uhuh uhuh
Uhuh uhuh uhuh
Uhuh uhuh uhuh
I’m not calling for a second chance
I’m screaming at the top of my voice
Give me reason, but don’t give me choice
Cause I’ll just make the same mistake again
Uhuhhhh
And maybe someday we will meet
And maybe talk but not just speak
Don’t buy the promises cause
There are no promises I keep
And my reflection troubles me
So here I go
Uhuh uhuh uhuh
Uhuh uhuh uhuh
Uhuh uhuh uhuh
I’m not calling for a second chance
I’m screaming at the top of my voice
Give me reason, but don’t give me choice
Cause I’ll just make the same mistake
I’m not calling for a second chance
I’m screaming at the top of my voice
Give me reason, but don’t give me choice
Cause I’ll just make the same mistake
again
Uhuh uhuh uhuh
Uhuh uhuh uhuh
Uhuh uhuh uhuh
Uhuh uhuh uhuh
So while I’m turning in my sheets (Uhuh uhuh)
And once again I cannot sleep (Uhuh uhuh)
Walk out the door and up the street (Uhuh uhuh)
Look at the stars, (Uhuh uhuh)
look at the stars, falling down (Uhuh uhuh)
And I wonder where (Uhuh uhuh)
Did I go wrong?
