As it’s common with John Mayer, he has written the lyrics of his last song, Shadow Days, which is has debuted at #42 on U.S. Billboard Hot 100 today.
The country rock song was selected as the lead single of his fifth upcoming album and released it last March 6, 2012.
Shadow Days is an inspirational song whose lyrics talks about recognizing some things are not easy and that life uses to be complicated but as person, we can always have the hope things are gonna be OK and gonna change.
The song is included on his fifth album entitled Born an Raise that will be released next May 22, 2012.
Unfortunately, his 2012 Spring Tour thorugh U.S. was cancelled due the return of the granuloma in his throat that caused some troubles during 2011.
