This album will available on April 2008. Touch My Body is the first single that it was released the last February 19 on U.S. Radio. Maria Carey follows, with this single, the tendency to “parody” the real life. You can remember similar songs like “Superstar” from Lupe Fiasco or “Piece of Me” from Britney Spears. Both of them are lyrics lacking of a deep content, but they result very, very funny and become hits quickly. In fact, I laughed a lot, when I listened it for the first time. The specialized critics have divided opinions about this single. Rolling Stone, for instance, gave a rating of 3.5, while Billboard said: “this sensual jam is 100% Mariah, packed with satisfying harmonic layers..”. And I think is true, although the song is funny, Carey looks like quite sensual.
