Maroon 5 performed this song on the David Letterman’s Late Show in the last January, 14 thanks to their 2 nominations on the Grammy Awards in the categories Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Producer of the Year for this second sophomore album called “It won’t be soon before long”. “Won’t go home without you” is the third single of the album, and it has been considered as deep pop ballad song. This is a production very different to the first one, featured for a strong paces. The video of the song was premiered on VH1 on December 1,2007, and it has a strong influence from “The Police”, specially for its single “Every Breath You Take”. In fact, it makes part of the video when Levine is watching the female character.
